Carrie Arnott is an experienced counsellor / psychotherapist who works with adults with a wide range of issues and problems including: depression / low mood; anxiety; trauma; abuse; addictions; alcohol and substance misuse; and other harmful coping strategies including self-harm; stress; loss and bereavement; confidence and self-esteem; feeling isolated; and relationship problems as well as many other issues. 

Carrie's way of working

Carrie is a person-centred therapist who offers counselling and psychotherapy in a confidential, respectful, and non-judgemental environment enabling clients to feel safe to explore and resolve any issues they have. She works in a reflective way, enabling her to build a deep relationship with clients and to support them on their journey to change and growth. 

Carrie's background and experience

Carrie has 17 years' experience working in Mental Health Support Services. She has worked in a number of roles and settings including in private practice as well as providing counselling services for a number of voluntary sector organisations. These include organisations working with issues relating to homelessness; self-harm; and alcohol and drug misuse.  

She has a Post-Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and a COSCA Certificate in Counselling.

Carrie's fee
